Update 10/25: Tuesday’s Regionals semifinal game between Dexter and Coldwater has been postponed to thursday at 7pm due to inclement weather.

Undefeated and ranked number one in the state, the Dexter soccer team headed into the Districts semifinals with high expectations facing off against Adrian. It was a hard fought game by both sides with Dexter ending up on top with a 3-0 victory on the road. Goals were scored by senior Jaylen Bonilla, junior Caden Doll, and senior Cole Harreld. With a win over the Maples, the Dreadnaughts advanced to District final game against Tecumseh where they swept the game by a score of 3-0. The team got off to a quick start with two goals both scored by senior Cole Harreld before the halfway point of the first. Junior Alex Doletzky also picked up a goal in the second half to finish off the game. With a District championship under their belt, Dexter continues on the road as they head off against Coldwater in Regionals today at 7pm. The game is hosted by Marshall with Dexter marked as the away team.
