Little Caesars Arena in Detroit is the newest and second largest ice hockey arena in the world. It will not only be the new home for the Detroit Red Wings, but also for the Pistons basketball team. So how will it compare to Joe Louis? Will it have the same feeling of excitement and intensity? Will we still be Hockeytown? These are questions many people are asking themselves. Here’s my take on the new arena.

Dexter Soccer Flies by Lincoln in Another Shutout

The Dexter men’s soccer team continues their season long winning streak with a victory over Lincoln.

The first play of the game, Dexter’s Alex Doletzky, passes across the field for a shot by senior Daniel Higgins that was stopped by the Lincoln Goaltender. Moments later Dexter senior Ryan Sanders layed up a corner kick for a header by senior Cole Herrald putting the Dreads up by one goal, four minutes into the first half.

Dreads Soccer Blanks Pinckney 4-0

Senior Ryan Sanders scores twice as Dexter improves to 11-0-1 on the season

Dexter had complete control of its game against Pinckney from the kickoff.

Just a few minutes into Tuesday’s game, intense pressure on the Pinckney defense lead to a corner kick for Dreads’ senior Ryan Sanders.
