This weekend the Dexter Drama Club will present the spring musical, “Willy Wonka,” based on the Ronald Dahl’s book, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

“Willy Wonka” is being performed at Copeland Auditorium (attached to the Senior Center on Main St.) and is showing Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.  All Dexter staff gets one free ticket to the production. Seating is limited, so community members are being advised to arrive early.

Also, the K12 Art Festival is displayed in Copeland’s lobby during the shows.  With middle and high students in “Willy Wonka” as well as the surrounding art from grades K-12,  drama teacher Erin Palmer said, “This weekend promises to be a true community event and one that celebrates the arts.”
